Clinical Information on Growth Hormone

GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 are Growth Hormone Releasing Peptides that are available by prescription.

GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 are synthetic six amino acid chain peptides which directly bind to specific receptors on the hypothalamus to

produce growth hormone (GH). Additionally, they stimulate the hypothalamus to release naturally produced Growth Hormone

Releasing Hormone. Most commonly used to stimulate the production and release of endogenous GH, GHRP-2 /

GHRP-6 may be an appropriate therapy for weight management.

GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 stimulate the hypothalamus to release naturally produced GHRH. Most importantly, GHRP-2

and GHRP-6 work on separate receptors in the hypothalamus and pituitary resulting dual site action.

While studies have shown a lack of response with GHRP-6 in GH-deficient patients with mutated GH-releasing hormone receptors,

GHRP-2 has proven itself effective in these patients due to its high potency.

1) HCG is not an FDA approved method of weight-loss therapy. 2) HCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or "normal" distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.
